Just under a year ago I had my wisdom tooth out and it was very very painful! Wisdom teeth are the ones at the very back and some people may not have any come through and others may have all of them come through. Some coming through may be painful and some may not hurt. Wisdom teeth are very strange things, there is no age as to when they will come through unlike any other teeth. Most people said I have a big mouth because I talk so much but guess what my wisdom teeth had no room to come through because I had such a small mouth and so it had to be taken out! I am so pleased that for the rest of my life I am able to tell other people that I have a small life. I know that a lot of noise can come out of it but it is only small and I try and make my words wise.
A lot of people think that when the wisdom teeth come out by the dentist then we loose all wisdom but that is a myth. Anyone can have wisdom but it takes someone smart to be able to use this as the best that they can. Everyone has wisdom because of the things they have been able to learn and the experiences that they have been able to have through their lives. No person is born with wisdom but they have to learn it and then they have to learn how to use it in the correct and upholding way. We have to learn how to help others, we have to learn how to make the right choices in life, we have to learn what we want to do, we have to learn how to use wisdom in our work life, with our children, in our marriage and so much more. We have to pray for wisdom, it won’t come naturally to us.
We all need to be able to know how to use wisdom in the right way but God can help us to use it. In His word, the Bible, it states, ‘if any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudging, and it will be given to you.’ (James 1:5) God will give us the wisdom that we need in each and everyday and He will give us just the right amount that we need. We can keep asking for more and more but God will only give us what we need and when we need it. We can’t just expect him to give it to us without asking and without the right heart as we need to be aware of what our heart wants and why we need it. We need to understand that wisdom is a very important thing and we need to use it for the good of God and His word and not just ourselves. We need to use wisdom to build others up and not to think we know more than other people. Wisdom is a good trait to have but we need to be careful about it.
Although we all want to know everything and to be able to see what is going on we need to be able to understand that God has and will give us things that we need just at the right time. Wisdom is given by God and will be taken away by God. God knows when we ask for wisdom with the right heart and without the right heart. We all know that God is the wisest and no one will be wiser than Him and however much we try it will never happen and God will be the wisest of them all. No one on earth will be wiser than God, we can ask people for their advice and their wisdom but God is the one who can give us true wisdom and who can help us to grow and develop in a wise way.
In everyday and all that we do we need to be able to ask God for the wisdom that we need each day and we need to be able to know that God will be there for us. He will help us to be wise in the choices that we make and the things that we do. He will give us wisdom in life but we have to fully trust in Him and we have to examine our heart before we come to him. We need to make sure that we are not asking for the wrong things but to be able to know deep down that our heart is in the right place to be able to come to God.
