How would you feel if your parents knew everything that you did? How would you feel if you knew someone was watching you all the time? How would you feel if the person who was watching you all the times was trying to protect you? How do you feel about someone knowing everything about you including your deepest thoughts an feelings? How do you feel about someone who knows everything. Who knows the answer to how many hairs are on your head? Who knows how many years you will live for? Who knows what your future looks like? Who knows the person you are going to marry? Who knows when you will leave your job? Who knows everything tiny thing about you? How do you feel about that? Does it make you scared? Does it make you alert?
You may think you know everything but in reality you do not. You may think you know how many hairs are on your head and you may have tried to count them but in reality you do not. You may guess an age as to when you are going to pass way but in reality you don’t have a clue. You may know more than children but in reality you know a bit more than them. We know nothing compared to God, we are a tiny tiny point in this universe and in reality should be nothing to God with everything else in this whole universe and beyond but instead He cares for us. He knows everything about us, He cares about how we are feeling, He cares about our sickness, He cares about our jobs, He cares about our children, He cares about our home situation, He cares about our money worries, He cares about the feeling in our hearts, He cares about everything single thing in our lives.
We all know somethings, we all know more things than other people but we cannot ever say that we know everything because compared to God we know nothing. We may have things that surprise us, there may be things that we are shocked by, frightened by, scared by but this does not surprise God, He is not shocked or frightened, he is not scared or surprised. Nothing happens that He does not know, nothing happens that He has not planned because He knows everything. We have to go to school and college to learn things but God did not because He is the One who created everything, He knows the smallest animal in the world and He knows the largest star in the universe. He did not need to go to school to learn these things, He created them all and He knows everything and we should be thankful that God know all things because otherwise we would be stuck!
Shouldn’t we be blessed that God knows everything in the world and we can come to Him with things that worry us and things that we are unsure about? I am thankful that we are able to come to the One who knows all things and we are able to trust and to rely on Him. Not only does God know everything about the world but He knows how we sleep, He knows how we are feeling, He knows what we feel about other people, He knows our inmost thoughts, He knows when we are hungry, He knows when we are sad, He knows when we are happy, He knows when we need to love, He knows when we need Him closer and it is important that He are able to come to Him because He knows everything.
God knows everything and we should be blessed! It is sad that we try and rely on other people, we try and get value from other people, we try and get confidence from other people, we try and get praise from other people but they will let us down. There will be people that we are close to and we will try and get praise from them but in reality we need to come to God and He will validate us, He will be the One who knows everything about us and the way we live that we can fully trust in Him and the way that He knows all about our lives. There will be times when we are not sure about the things that are going on but God knows that we often will struggle and He will continue to help us-we just need to fully trust and rely on Him.
