Blog 388: Wonderfully made

wonderfully made

Do you find that life is pulling you down? Do you feel that God doesn’t love you? Do you feel that you are at the end of your journey? Do you feel that you are no worthy? Do you feel that you are not comfortable with who you are? We often have so much baggage that is weighing us down that we find it hard to continue on our journey that we go. We find it hard to release ourselves of all the hurtful things, to release ourselves of all the things that hold us down, our weight, our appearance, our look. All these things can hold us down but we have to continue on the journey with everything that is happening in our lives. Are you ready to try and let go of these things and let God take control? Are you ready for you to look at yourself the way that God sees you?

No matter what you are going through in life today you need to know that you are wonderfully made, you are made in the image of God, you are made a certain way, you are made to be free. No matter how you feel this morning, how many friends you have, how many things go wrong and no matter how many people let you down God will be there and He will be faithful. He is faithful in everything that He does, He is loyal, He is devoted and He is consistent. There will be people around us that let us down, that promise us things and don’t follow them through, that say one thing and do another, but through everything God is faithful to us and he will continue to help us to be faithful to other people. We will have off days when we do not feel that people are faithful to us, when we feel alone and when we don’t feel worthy but we need to know that God is faithful to us and God will continue to help us through this life that we live.

We all live in a journey that is hard work, we have people that let us down, that tell us that we are not worthy enough, that we are not perfect, that we have issues, that we have failed, that we have left them and that we have told lies. We don’t really need people to tell us that because we know we are not perfect, we know that we are not worthy, we know that we have issues and we know that we are not what we are meant to be. There will be times when this is harder than other times to know this but through God we are worthy, we are who we are meant to be and we are perfect in His sight. We need to let other people know the truth about us and about God because He is the only One who is right and the only voice that we should listen too.

There will be people in our life that will not tell us what is right and who will always be right but God is. He is the One who is right in His words, who is right in His character and who is the One that we can count on. Even though we all have flaws and we all do things that we shouldn’t we can have a good example from God because He is perfect and righteous. The latter we don’t seem to use a lot these days because most people are not righteous, they do not do the right thing. We are surrounded by people that do not do the right thing, people that put themselves first, people that injure other people, people that are selfish, people that think about themselves, people that put themselves before other and people that sin.

However, God is full of righteousness, God is the One we can turn to when we sin and He will forgive us. He is the One who we can lean on when we do things wrong and when we need forgiveness and He will forgive. In order to do this we need to know that we are wonderfully made and God created us to be like Him. God knows how we feel about ourselves, He knows that we often fall short but He will be there to help us through this journey that we are on and He will help us to keep on going when it gets hard. No matter how much we look at ourselves and no much how much we think we are not worth anything we need to know that we are wonderfully made and God will continue to help you live a life that is good for Him.
