Christmas Cheer

Christmas-Cheers

We all love spending time together with our family and friends and it gives us a lot of joy and makes us cheerful. This is a good time to be cheerful, to be kind, to be forgiving, to be part of a family. It is the most wonderful time of the year and to be with family and friends is better than anything else in the world. I really enjoy this time of the year and all that is represents but it somehow has lost its meaning and all the things that we should remember. This is the perfect time for us to think about others and to bring some cheer to those who are not able to have it, bring kindness to those who don’t know it and bring the true message to those who believe lies. It is time to put our personal things aside and to reach out to other people.

It is time to feel cheerful in ourselves and if that means taking time of social media, having time with family, being on our own then it needs to be done. We need to have time out, we need to have time to ourselves, we need to live life to the full and we need to be able to focus on what we are doing at the moment and not think about the things that need to be done. This life is full of so many things, so many things that we have to do, so many places that we have to be, so many people we have to see and this is the time that we are able to have with family and friends. We want to spread Christmas cheer to those people around us and especially those people who do not have family and friends around them.

It is sad to see that so many people do not have family around, so many people are sick and so they spend this time in hospital, so many people are stuck in their own home, so many people don’t have the energy to keep on going and it is sad. They are not cheerful to have this time and it is time for us to bring some Christmas cheer to them. It is time for us to reach out, for us to bring happiness to those people who may not be able to and may not be able to feel loved. This is time for us to have some fun, to do something unusual for someone else. This is the time to give and it is important to put other people first. Christmas is a time when we can put other people first but it is also a time when we can make memories that should last forever.

We all have memories that can last forever and what a wonderful time to have with family. It is good to be able to have this time off work, to have time with each other and to have time having Christmas cheer around us. However, with all the excitement around us it is important to remember the real message, to remember why we have this time of year, to remember what Christmas is all about. We need to know that Jesus came as a baby, Jesus came to a virgin, Jesus came as fully God, Jesus came as fully man and it is important to be able remember this with all the things that is going on. We have so many things that we have to do, so many people that we have to see and it is easy to forget the real reason why we have this festive season.

This festive season we need to remember that Jesus came for us, He came so that we are able to live forever, He came so that we are able to show love to other people, He came to heal, He came to love, He came to share, He came so that we are able to be saved. Not only did He live a perfect life but He lived a perfect death so that we are able to live with Him-What better news can we have this Christmas time. There may be so many things going on, so many things that we have to do that it can get on top of us but it is important to remember the true meaning for this time, the true meaning of why Jesus came and why we have Christmas. We need to remember that Jesus came for us and our shamful, sinful life that we live.
