Whaaaaat! 4 days ago we are celebrated our first valentines day as Mr and Mrs and I can’t be more excited! Where did that time fly by? How has the last 10 months gone so quickly? It only seemed like yesterday that it was my wedding day! What an amazing time it is for both of us and how incredible the last 10 months have been! I am still on cloud 9 that I am married and that I now have a wonderful husband who provides for me and helps me to be more godly and focused on Christ. I am so blessed and I have a lot to be thankful for. I am so happy that you want to be with me for the rest of your life and I am privileged that you want to call me your wife- I can’t think of any title better! Babe this is for you:
When I first met you I knew that you were the one for me. I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you and I am so grateful that you want to do the same. From the day we started dated I knew that I wanted you and God would help us and make the path clear for us. I really can’t be more blessed to have you in my life. I knew that God would help us in the way that is best and God will continue to bless us in our life and the journey that we go through. I know that through all the challenges that we go through God will be with us and He will be supporting us all the way. There will be times when we may not feel it but God will be there and we can reach out to Him at any point.
Our wedding day was amazing, to have family and friends with us to the closest and dearest at the reception. It really was perfect! There may have been some hiccups along the way and stresses that we could have dealt without but God helped us and he helped us to be able to keep focused. To this day I am so glad that I married you and I now get to call you my husband. I couldn’t be more proud and have a bigger smile on my face.
I love the way that I wake up to you every morning, I love how you call me beautiful when I look like a tramp, I love how we can talk about anything and everything, I love how you are logical, I love how you trust me, I love how you work hard, I love how godly you are, I love that you want to protect me, I love how handsome you are, I love that I can have you by my side throughout the ups and downs of life, I love you SMiLE!
I am so grateful for the past and all that we went through to get through to this day. I am grateful that you noticed me, that you have been through my depression with me, you have helped me to stay focused, you have helped me to get better. I am so thankful for all the memories we have made, for the fun we have had, for the love we have for each other, for the adventures we have been on, for the stupid things we have done for each other and together. Thank you for making so many memories with me and helping me to live my life to the fullest but also to be able to have fun too.
At this moment in time I am thankful and blessed that you are my husband, I love how you smile and the cheeky grin you have when you are up to something no good. Thank you for being kind to me, for building me up even when I do the smallest things. I am so blessed that I can hug you every night, I can have the dinner ready when you get home, I can follow your lead and you will follow God.
I look forward to the future when we will hopefully have our own children, when we will be able to teach them the way of the Lord, for them to call you Daddy. I look forward to more adventures, to more fun, to more silliness, to more ice cream, to getting to know each other more and to grow in Christ more.
