In just two days we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, Emmanuel, Christ, the Lord, Son of man and fully son of God. He is the lamb of God, the light of the world, king of the Jews, Alpha and Omega, Good shepherd, the king of kings, the saviour, the way, the truth, the prince of peace and of Nazareth. When you read all those names that Jesus is what do you think? What do you think of all those names? Do you think he deserved all of those? We have learnt about these over the last few weeks and I think they are truly amazing, I think Jesus’ life is truly amazing, not only was He born from a virgin, not only was he born in a stable but He was fully God and He was fully man.
He was the One who came to the world so that we are able to have life, He was the One who came so that we are able to come to God, He was the One so that we are able to have the way to the father and we are able to live an everlasting life. No matter what happens in our life as long as we trust in Christ we are able to get through everything. He may have been born like all of us but he was God, He may have been born in a stable but He was fully king, He may have been born to a man and a women but His father was God, He may have had the shepherds come but He had no set home.
The baby that came to this earth was fully God, He was fully man and He was fully part of this earth and creation. As you go ahead today with your life getting ready for Christmas please remember the baby that came in a crib, remember that we have a reason for this season and remember that it is only through Jesus that you can come to the father.
