Blogmas – Day 13 – Alpha and Omega

Jesus as “the Alpha and Omega” – The Human Messiah Jesus

Did you know that these words are the first and last words in the Greek alphabet? Jesus is called the Alpha because He was there at the beginning. He was there with the father when the world was created, He was there when God created the heavens and the earth, He was there when the oceans were formed, He was there when the first humans graced the earth and He was there when man sinned and He was there when the first child was born. We may think that our grandparents have been on earth for a very long time but in actual fact Jesus has been there from the very beginning.

Not only was Jesus there at the very beginning but He will also be there at the end. He will be there when the world ends, He will be there when we all pass, He will be there when the world ends. Not only will Jesus be the Alpha and Omega but He will be there in between, He will be there through our life, He was there when we were conceived and He will be there when we will breath our last breath. Jesus will be there through our ups and downs, Jesus will be there when we have our struggles, Jesus will be there through our happiness and we should be blessed that this is the case.

Today as you go about your day today, think about the fact that before you or your ancestors were born Jesus was there and when you are well gone Jesus will still be here. It is such a strange thing but you need to know that if you accept Jesus’ into your heart then you will never be alone and Jesus won’t just be there at the beginning or end but he will be with your throughout the whole of your life.
