When you hear the word Christ, what do you think off? For me it means Jesus Christ, the one who we will be celebrating as a baby in the next few weeks. Christ is a word that we should only use for praise, it is a word that we should be grateful for, it is a word that we should be reminded of Jesus’ love and it is a word that we should value and hold tight in our hearts. Christ is the one that came into this world as a perfect human being and He is the one that came to save us from all the wrong things that we have said, the wrong things we have thought and the wrong things that we have done.
Christ is one that we should fully value in our hearts, he is one that we can come to at anytime in our lives, we can come to him through the hard and easy times and most of all he will be there when there is no one else around. Christ will be there when you are on your own and he will be there when you are surrounded by other people. We can rely on Christ more than other people and we can rely on him more than our spouse, more than our family and more than our children.
Today as you go about your day remember that Christ is with you, remember that you can rely on Him more than anything else in your life and remember that even when you are going through the tough things you can fully rely on Christ as your Lord. Christ is the one who will look after you, Christ is the one who will keep you safe and He is the one that you can come to through day and night.
