‘Count your blessings, name them one by one and see what the Lord has done.’ What can you be thankful for today? What are you grateful for? What are your blessings? What things do you take for granted? Who do you take for granted? Who are you blessed by? Why do you feel blessed? Have you counted your blessings today? Are you happy with life today? Are you thankful for the people and things around you? Do you feel that you are a blessing to other? Do you want to try and be positive to others? Are you blessed with what the Lord has done? Are you grateful for all the Lord has given you? Are you thankful for the things you have? Are you thankful for the family and friends that surround you? Are you thankful for you jobs you have so you are able to keep on going and have the resources to do things that you would like?

Your boss says you’ve done well, you never thought you could but you have a positive pregnancy test in your hand after years of negative ones, your friends give you a ‘surprise’ birthday party, you are taken out by your in-laws, your other half gives you roses once you have put the kids to bed, you come home to dinner on the table, your other half has filled your car up with gas, your parents surprise you with an unannounced visit to town, your best friend chooses to come all the way across the world to your wedding, the train is there when you get to the station, the food that you need is on deal so you save money, you get invited out somewhere, you get a gift, you get a promotion, you are able to get a small smile from a baby. As small or as big as these are they are all blessings and unexpected. They can affect your mood and you don’t even realise it. They can affect how you feel for the rest of the day and how you act towards other people and it can be wonderful.

Did you know that every good thing comes from the Lord? God likes to send us blessings in the most unexpected ways, from the most unexpected people and normally when we most need it but didn’t realise it. He sends blessings via the most unexpected people and the most unexpected situations. Blessings can come in all different shapes and sizes, blessing come by children, blessings come by adults, blessing come by that random person on the train, blessings come by that person you have known for years, blessings come from the most horrible situations, blessings come in the worst days, blessings come in the best days, blessings come when you least expect it and we need to be thankful to God for all the blessings that He has provided in our lives. He provides so much for us and we seem to forget that He sends blessings our way.

Nothing is too hard for God, your finances are not too hard for God, your health is not too hard for God, your children are not too hard for God, your job is not too hard for God, your family issues are not too hard for God, your situation is not too hard for God, your social life is not too hard for God, your marriage is not too hard for God, your times alone is not too hard for God, your chores are not too hard for God, your list isn’t too long for God to help with, nothing at all is too hard for God. Don’t give up or loose heart God will help you and will bless you in ways that you will never know. He will help you with what life throws at you and nothing is a surprise for Him even when it may be for us. God gives us so many blessings and we should feel thankful and grateful for all that He sends our way.

As you head into today, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year God will bless you and God will bless you in ways that you don’t expect. He will put people in your lives to bless you and God will put you in situations that will bless you. It will be unexpected and it will be continual. Today, tomorrow and forever count your blessings each and everyone and be thankful to God and the things that He puts in your life. God will bless you and lets be thankful.
