Sweden, Sweden, Sweden, what an amazing country, what amazing people, what amazing views, what amazing lakes, what amazing boats, what amazing food, what amazing drinks, what amazing ice cream, what amazing animals, what amazing forests, what an amazing time we are having here!
I love Sweden, the atmosphere, the people, the food, the views, the weather and so much more. I am thankful that I have been able to have this opportunity to be able to go on holiday with my fiance and to meet some of his family. I have enjoyed getting to know his Swedish part of the family. If you didn’t know already his mothers side is Swedish and his fathers side is Sri Lankan and he is very handsome! I have loved getting to know all his immediate family but now getting to know the family in Sweden has been awesome.
To begin the holiday we stayed in a boat along a river and we then had a family wedding and it was beautiful, there are so many traditions that the Swedes do and I didn’t even know-maybe we could do some in our wedding. Being with Dan’s grandparents was amazing, they have so much land and forest and it was beautiful all around. They have been so kind to open up their house to me, a person that they have only seen for one time. It has been strange seeing another country but also having a different language.
I am so grateful and blessed to be able to marry into a family where they have people abroad. Its sad that we don’t get to see them as much as we would like but at least we get free accommodation when we go over! We had such a ball and have made so many good and amazing memories that I hope I will remember for a very long time. I am blessed to be able to have people around that I can speak to and to see Gods creation in another country and how people work the land so that they are able to survive.
I appreciate that we were able to have the time away together and with family and I look forward to many more to come. I praise God that I was able to go somewhere that is full of new things, full of creation and full of love. I look forward to looking back to the adventures in years to come and wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else apart from my fiance!
